ADA Consultation
Our staff can provide you with contacts who are knowledgeable about the various aspects of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its implementation. DVR can assist with the following:
Basic training about the law and its implementation.
Training on reasonable accommodation.
Information on sources to contact for ADA clarification.
Identification of essential job functions.
On-The-Job Training
DVR's on-the-job training provides actual skill development on an individual basis at little or no cost to you. It is a cost effective way for people to learn your specific job requirements.
You can train the individual in the manner you want the work done.
You have the opportunity to observe the worker during the training period.
You have no complicated paperwork.
The worker receives appropriate training.
Tax Incentives
The Internal Revenue Code contains the following provisions for business:
Disabled Access Tax Credit (Title 26, Internal Revenue Code, Section 44)
Tax Deduction to Remove Architectural and Transportation Barriers to People with Disabilities and Elderly Individuals (Title 26, Internal Revenue Code, Section 190)
